Area of Adaptation:
WA8252 appears to be best adapted to the South Idaho irrigated production areas although performs well under the >16 inch rainfall zones of Eastern Washington and North Idaho.
Resistance to Disease:
WA8252 combines stripe rust resistance and nematode resistance into a single line.
Based on field observations WA8252 did not suffer any injury due to the cold conditions over the winter and would be considered moderately cold tolerant.
