WINTER SEED TREATMENT:  CruiserMax Cereal Custom Blend 1.0(Div. Xtrm, Rancona,  Apron XL, & Cruiser 1 oz.) will be used to treat all fall planted seed sold by the WSCIA Foundation Seed Service. This combination of seed treatments will provide customers with the best available seed protection for their crops. The addition of other seed additives or starter fertilizers on a custom basis will no longer be available.  These changes are being made to control costs of your Foundation seed purchases.

SPRING SEED TREATMENT: Spring 2012, WSCIA Foundation Seed Service will use a seed treatment combination of BAYER’S Proceed™, an additional new fungicide from CHEMTURA called Rancona® for improved control on Fusarium, Rhizoctonia and dry rot, and BAYER’s Gaucho® insecticide. Gaucho will be offered at two different rates for increased insecticide protection. The standard rate will be increased from last year’s ½ ounce per cwt rate, to a full One Ounce rate due to repeated requests from growers and seed dealers. For those needing it, FSS will offer Gaucho at a Two Ounce per cwt rate, but only on Early Orders (prior to March 1st).  This combination of seed treatments for spring planting will provide customers with the best available seed protection for their crops.
